Japan, Download and Summer Of Sonic 09I had my trip to Japan back in April which was the most amazing experience of my life. The country is just mind blowing. I got to see the famous Akihabara, a huge street full of multi-story otaku shops, selling anything from mangas to animes to new and second-hand games to figurines and plushies. I think I spent about £500 in that district alone.
I also got to see the infamous Pokemon centre. Oddly though, despite not being a massive Pokemon fan I stll managed to spend about £80 in there. It's adorable but the pokemon centre theme music is enough to drive you mad after a while.
I also went to Tokyo Disneyland which rocked, The imperial gardens which were gorgeous and the Studio Ghibli museum. I discovered a love for collecting Pullip Dolls, I won a big Doraemon plushie in Sega Joypolis, I saw the "Statue of Liberty" (That was pretty random).I also saw Fruits at Harajuku which was awesome. I could write about every detail, even now, 2 months after I got back, but I would be here all day.
We've managed to sell our house finally. Oddly to the brother of someone we knew from school. Luckily we found a place quite quickly and are just sorting out the moving procedures now. It's 10 minutes from where I work so yay!.
I got a promotion at work so I've been earning a few extra pennies ( I say promotion, I really just got a bit better so I earn more for it)
I also went to the Download festival a couple of weeks back which rocked. I got to see some truly awesome bands like Journey, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, ZZ Top, The Prodigy, Pendulum and loads of others. Fantastic times.
Right now, I'm in the process of helping to arrange Summer of Sonic 09. I'm prettybusy with work, so I can't dedicate too much time to it, but I'm helping where I can. Last years one was a huge success so we're hoping to make this one even better. I got to see the venue the other dayand it's really cool so hopefully it'll be a fantastic day. I'm also making another fancy cake so we'll have to see how that turns out.

I'm glad you liked my drawing, I may have to use the markers more often.
The guy/girl (girl dressed as a guy..long story that is explained in the first chapter ^_^) I was drawing was from 'ouran highschool host club', you'll be able to read it online if you want to try it out, it's really good.
